Coachella 2012: Band Twitter Transmissions From Indio

Whether currently at Coachella, on the way there, wishing they were attending or simply remembering the glory days of festivals past, artists and bands have been taking to Twitter to post about the annual gathering in the desert. From Silversun Pickups to Foster the People, however, one odd fact seems to run amongst the Twittering bands so far is that many of them aren’t playing this year.

Or is that really all that strange? After all, bands playing Coachella may actually be a little too involved to be writing about it (although we can’t picture habitual Twitter users like Tegan and Sara letting a thing like performing at Coachella from getting in the way of writing about it). We’re sure that more 140-characters-or-less notes will be popping up from actual performers, but for now we’re content amusing ourselves with these posts:
