Frank Ocean's terrific 'Channel Orange' has won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2013 Grammys. As presenter Nas stated before handing out the Grammy, this was the first year that this award has been presented.

There were only three nominees in the category this inaugural year. Seeing that Ocean's competition included Chris Brown, one of the most hated men on the planet, and Miguel, who made a great album that wasn't heard by too many people, this was one of the night's best bets. Ocean received a standing ovation as he went up to accept his award. He kept his speech short and sweet, thanking his mom and his Odd Future crew.

Ocean is also up for Record of the Year (for 'Thinkin' Bout You'), Album of the Year and Best New Artist, all of which will be announced later in the program.
