Winners Announced in Kia Soul ‘In My Mind’ Music Video Challenge [Sponsored Post]

Last month, Kia launched the ‘In My Mind’ Music Video Challenge, a chance for aspiring filmmakers — or just regular folks who like making YouTube clips — to create 90-second music videos for a remix by Swedish House Mafia member Axwell. Now that the contest is over, and the judges — Far East Movement, Mickey Finnegan and Paul Hunter — have had their say, it’s time to announce the winners.

Taking home the grand prize, a 2013 Kia Soul, is Chad G. of Cleveland, Tenn. His video, titled ‘The Ride,’ can be seen below, and while he’s the only contestant whose camera wizardry has earned him a sweet automobile, he’s not the only winner. Silvino F. of Alta Loma, Calif., has won first prize — a Sony HVR-Z7U HDV Professional Video Camcorder and Tripod — for ‘IMAGINE,’ while Anthony L. of Buena Park, Calif, the man behind ‘In My Mind,’ has earned second prize, a Macbook Pro Laptop including Final Cut Pro editing software.
