The nominees for this year’s Oscars have been announced, and Antony of Antony and the Johnsons, the Weeknd and Sam Smith are all up for awards.

The three singers are nominated for Best Original Song. The category includes Antony’s collaboration with J. Ralph, “Manta Ray,” for Racing Extinction; the Weeknd’s “Earned It” for Fifty Shades of Grey; Smith’s James Bond theme “Writing’s on the Wall”; Lady Gaga’s "Til It Happens to You” for The Hunting Ground; and David Lang’s “Simple Song #3,” which appeared in Youth.

The N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton is up for Best Original Screenplay. The Best Documentary Feature category boasts two music docs: the Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone films Amy and What Happened, Miss Simone?

The Best Original Score category goes as follows: Ennio Morricone for The Hateful Eight, Carter Burwell for Carol, Jóhann Jóhannsson for Siccario, John Williams for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Thomas Newman for Bridge of Spies.
