"Just half a gram of heroin an hour before each show and some speed afterwards to pick me back," jokes Biffy Clyro singer Simon Neil in his thick, 'Trainspotting'-esque Scottish accent, responding to a question about the rituals his band partakes in while on the road. Neil's quip comes midway through a brand-new '5 Rounds With Biffy Clyro' video that Diffuser.fm is pleased to premiere. (Watch it above.)

The clip is part of a Q&A series intended to introduce Biffy Clyro -- who drop their sixth album, 'Opposites,' tomorrow (March 12) -- to U.S. audiences. In the video, Neil and his bandmates -- the twin-sibling rhythm section of James and Ben Johnson, who play bass and drums, respectively -- speak about their actual pre-concert traditions and must-have tour items, among other things.

The Scottish trio supports 'Opposites,' which topped the U.K. charts earlier this year, with a European tour that launches on March 20 in Newcastle, England. The band then crosses the Atlantic to open for Muse on a North American arena trek that kicks off April 9 in Toronto, Ontario, an runs through an April 26 gig in Quebec City, Quebec.
