Hailing from Philadelphia, the rock duo known as John and Brittany are preparing for the release of their EP, 'Stories to Be Told,' on Oct. 7. Ahead of its release, Diffuser has teamed up with the pair to unveil their latest track, 'La Tierra.' Check it out in the audio player below.

The name of the EP was suggested to John and Brittany by none other than Little Steven Van Zandt of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band -- who also heralded their first single, 'St. Valentine,' as the "coolest song in the world."

We think 'La Tierra' just might challenge it for the title:

"'La Tierra' is dedicated to the dark underbelly of America that is often swept under the rug and forgotten," the band tells us. "It's definitely for the 99%." That sentiment is obvious with lyrics like, "The homeless brave America / La Tierra, La Tierra gone bad."

The duo has a handful of shows scheduled throughout the rest of the year. Stay up-to-date with their tour itinerary, and get all the details on 'Stories to Be Told, at their official website here.
