Mikal Cronin Announces New Album + Premieres Single, ‘Made My Mind Up’

Garage rocker Mikal Cronin has announced the release date for his third album, ‘MCIII.’ The forthcoming album – which will hit stores on May 5 via Merge Records – follows Cronin’s critically acclaimed sophomore effort, 2013’s ‘MCII.’

The forthcoming album sees the singer-guitarist more ambitious than ever, playing all of the instruments and arranging music for a string quartet. We get a sense of what that might sound like with ‘MCIII’’s lead single and second track, ‘Made Up My Mind,’ which Cronin debuted today, Jan. 26. Take a listen below:
