Today (Jan. 27), Diffuser is thrilled to partner with the U.K. indie pop rock outfit known as NÖME to premiere their brand new single, ‘Streets of New York.’ It won’t take long for you to experience the power of the quartet, from sweeping musical arrangements to anthemic choruses. Stream the new track in the audio player below.

“‘Streets of New York’ is a whirlwind of guitars and vocals that takes you up and before you know it, you’re back on your feet -- but across the street,” the band emphatically explains to us about the track. “Off-beat hi-hats close the song in an outré that aims to reflect the hustle, bustle and chaos of New York, whilst the chorus gives a glimpse of the romanticized, and perhaps more whimsical, image of the city.”

Comprised of frontwoman Rachel Still, guitarist Jack Fowles, bassist George Ames and drummer Kayleigh Cheer, NÖME formed in 2012. Since then, they've seemed to have perfected the art of producing massive-sounding music in just a matter of minutes. ‘Streets of New York’ is a perfect example of the band’s ability to fill the space around you with dynamic and beautiful tones.

NÖME have a string of shows already scheduled for February and March across England, so make sure to stay up-to-date with everything happening in their world at their official website here.
