With their new album, The Waterfall, dropping this week, My Morning Jacket stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform their latest track, "Compound Fracture."

Dressed in a floral embroidered coat, hat and round, oversized sunglasses, Jim James led his band in a rousing track that will quickly bring fans' spirits up. With their album art displayed in the background, the Americana rock tune is a nice toe-tapper that starts to amplify as the track builds. And you can't ignore James' vocals on the song, especially when he starts hitting his high falsettos. This is just another winning track from the Louisville, Ky., band.

My Morning Jacket have previously revealed two tracks off their upcoming album -- "Big Decisions" and "Spring (Among the Living)".

Before The Waterfall officially hits the streets on May 4, the band is hosting a vinyl listening party live on YouTube followed a Q&A with fans to chat about the new album tonight (May 3); get details here.

My Morning Jacket will also be hitting the road, starting on May 4 in Athens, Georgia. And if you plan to catch them live, proceeds from your ticket and any merch you purchase will go toward the band’s Waterfall Project.
