"Somewhere between fact and fiction sits a place called Fort Lean."

While that statement might seem cryptic at first, there is no better description for the Brooklyn-based indie quintet. With a polished beauty in the midst of unadulterated rock and roll, Fort Lean's music is too authentic to be considered fiction, and to exciting to be referred to as merely fact.

As the rockers gear up for the release of their debut full-length, Quiet Day, Diffuser is beyond thrilled to give fans a fresh taste of what to expect with the brand-new track, "New Hobbies" -- you can stream it and download it for free below:

"There are elements in our music that you might think you've heard before but they translate to something different when the parts come together," frontman Keenan Mitchell says. "It's a warped normalcy." That normalcy is fully realized throughout "New Hobbies," a song that conjures memories of familiar indie rock sounds right alongside brand-new aural experiences.

Fort Lean have a number of shows scheduled throughout June and July, so make sure you head over to their official website to grab their full tour itinerary (you can also find it below). And stay tuned for more details surrounding Quiet Day -- if "New Hobbies is any indication (and it is), Fort Lean will make a big splash with their debut.
