A 911 transcript obtained by the Associated Press documents the moment Scott Weiland’s tour manager and Wildabouts bandmates discovered the former Stone Temple Pilots frontman’s body after dying from an accidental overdose on Dec. 3.

“I think he’s dead,” an unidentified caller said after calling 911 (via Billboard). “No, he’s not breathing.” The caller went on to describe Weiland as “stiff,” “not moving” and “hard as a rock.”

A police report reveals it was tour manager Aaron Mohler who first discovered Weiland on the band’s bus in Bloomington, Minn. Mohler then called drummer Joseph Castillo, who checked for a pulse. Weiland died from a toxic mix of drugs that included cocaine, alcohol and MDA. He was 48.

Many of Weiland’s colleagues, friends and family have made moving tributes to the late singer, including his former STP and Velvet Revolver bandmates, Billy Corgan, Chris Cornell and his ex-wife Mary Forsberg. Forsberg is currently vying to be the executor of Weiland’s will.
