Peter Frampton and Andrew McMahon were hanging out listening to gospel records and decided to start a side project. OK, not really, but this Brooklyn-born duo of NYU students Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino could fool anybody into feeling good and emotional about the future. Picture the first time you heard Kansas' 'Carry On Wayward Son,' but imagine it piano-ballad style.

Diffuser.fm spoke with Axel about this, the follow-up to his viral hit 'This Is the New Year.' "We're all mere reflections of one another, on the micro and macro level," he says. "We're each as infinite as the universe, and that makes us feel lucky and gives us hope. That's kinda where we were coming from when writing 'There Is an Answer!'"
