Adele shared the news of her pregnancy last week, and now comes the fun part: Months and months of the tabloids trying to dig up details about her plans for the little bundle of joy. In the first round of stories, we have reports that she's getting ready to drop a whole bunch of money on building a nursery -- and hoping the baby is a boy.

The nursery news comes courtesy of the reputable-sounding Mr. Paparazzi website, which quotes "a source close to her" as saying "Adele is delighted" to have been granted permission from the city council to remodel her home. "It couldn’t have come at a better time," added the source. "Now it’s going to be a real dream home for her and her new family."

The report went on to quote "pals of the singer" as saying she's planning on spending "around half a million" pounds to finish the new nursery -- around $783,750 at current exchange rates, which should be sufficient to build a mansion big enough to hold several babies. Perhaps she's expecting septuplets?

Meanwhile, Today Online says Adele is hoping for a boy, based on comments she made to Vogue during an interview published last October. "I've always got on better with boys," she told the magazine, adding, "Most of my friends are boys. Like, if I ever have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers, whereas girls can be so mean to each other."
