Well, this takes "nesting" to a whole new level: The U.K.'s Metro tabloid is reporting that following the birth of her son, Adele dropped a healthy $8.9 million on a brand-new mansion for her growing family.

The house is located in the Notting Hill area of London, described in the report as a "trendy" district that "features a number of famous residents, including Kylie Minogue and Pippa Middleton." While most of us would have to win a lottery or two to pay for a pad this swanky, Adele's Notting Hill digs are reportedly not even her only residence -- she was also in the news back in February for purchasing a $6 million estate, which is the kind of thing you can do when you're enjoying a year that finds you on Forbes' list of highest paid entertainers under 30.

Adele, naturally, isn't commenting on any of this -- the notably tight-lipped singer has yet to even issue an official confirmation of her baby's birth -- so it's probably wise to take the news with a grain of salt. For all we know, she's still pregnant and living in a sensibly sized apartment, though we kind of doubt it. After all, what's a new mansion after you've spent the last couple of years breaking Billboard chart records?
