Adele has won a Golden Globe for 'Skyfall,' her theme from the James Bond film of the same name. The British singer bested Hugh Jackman, Jon Bon Jovi, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift -- backed by the Civil Wars -- to win the Best Original Song award at tonight's ceremony.

"I was not expecting this -- thank you so much!" Adele said, appearing genuinely surprised by the honor. "I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press -- never thought I'd say that!"

She went on to thank her infant son, boyfriend Simon Konecki and Daniel Craig, star of 'Skyfall.'

Last week, Adele earned an Oscar nomination for 'Skyfall,' and in addition to her newly acquired Golden Globe prize, her trophy case is stacked with eight Grammys. Six came at last year's ceremony, where the singer marked her triumphant return to the stage after undergoing throat surgery. Her appearance this evening at the Golden Globes marked her first public outing since giving birth back in October.
