Afghan Whigs Play ‘Jimmy Kimmel,’ Kick Off Fall Tour

Subscribe to on

The Afghan Whigs warmed up for their upcoming U.S. fall tour by hitting the stage of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Wednesday night to perform two songs: ‘My Enemy’ from 1996’s ‘Black Love’ and ‘Uptown Again’ from their final album, ‘1965,’ which dropped in 1998.

The Whigs performed the latter tune as the show was ending, so fair warning: The song cuts off before the end of the video. The band kick off their fall trek on Saturday in New York City at the I’ll Be Your Mirror festival, which is being put on by All Tomorrow’s Parties and curated by Whigs frontman Greg Dulli.
