To give you a sense of what the Austin-by-way-of-Sacramento duo Agent Ribbons are all about, they say they're not just a band, but rather "a tree house club of post-feminist dreamers trying to find their place in the scheme of things, like a hand-sewn and lovingly-crafted garment in a modern, disposable world."

Imbued with a '90s post-garage-pop sensibility, Agent Ribbons make fun, slightly aggressive pop along the lines of '90s gem Cub, except way more sophisticated and with more nuanced arrangements. It's an instantly pleasing combination.

About the single 'Family Haircut,' from their new 'Let Them Talk' EP, Natalie Ribbons tells Diffuser.fm, "'Family Haircut' is a nocturnal flying-bicycle ride with school girls setting lyrics to Pachelbel Canon in D in the style of the first Shins record."
