Just when you thought all the viral cat videos had been made, YouTube user Joey Siler enters the scene and fills an immense gap with a parody video that we didn’t even realize was missing from our lives -- that is until now. Behold: Cats spoofing Alice in Chains.

Siler’s trio of cartoon cats -- dubbed Kitties in Chains, naturally -- transforms Alice in Chains’ “Man in the Box” into the brooding anthem, “Cat in the Box,” substituting the original lyrics with … well, more cat-oriented fare. Check it out for yourself in the video up above.

Even better, Kitties in Chains perform their newly adapted tune in front of a wall plastered with the names of fellow cat rock bands: A Purrfect Circle, Yarn Maiden, Mecalico and Nine Inch Tails -- just to name a few.
