Alt-J Play ‘Conan,’ Do ‘Breezeblocks’ With Ease, If Not Boredom

Having just wrapped up a string of trans-American tour dates, British rockers Alt-J are currently on the West Coast to play both weekends of the Coachella festival. But they're not resting on their laurels during the days in between. The band booked three gigs in California, and last night (April 18), they appeared on 'Conan.'

Is it just us, or do Alt-J seem almost bored to be performing on national television? This version of 'Breezeblocks,' off last year's excellent 'An Awesome Wave,' is at the very least a very laid-back affair. Maybe they're just exceptionally comfortable with the whole thing, in which case, more power to them. How very British, right?
