Alt-J Bring Everyone to Their Feet at Sold Out New York Gig
Alt-J have been touring Canada and the U.S. since October, and after playing sold out shows all over North America, they made their way to the Big Apple last night (Nov. 16).
With the Beacon Theatre packed to the brim, the lads from Leeds, England, made an impression on the crowd even before they played a single note. They were more or less static onstage aside from the occasional guitar change and during instrumental breaks. However, fans clearly didn't care; they were just glad to finally see this quartet on their side of the Atlantic.
Alt-J packed in 14 songs with a three-track encore, which included covering a Bill Withers classic.
