Alt-J are offering a sneak-preview track from their forthcoming album Relaxer, and a complete track listing for the summer release. You can listen to "3WW" above.

Fans have been eager to hear what Alt-J might come up with after drummer Thom Sonny Green hinted last August that they had a lot of different options on the table. "All we ever want to do is write interesting things, so we might write an entire album with an acoustic guitar and a tambourine," he joked with DIY. "We'll see."

This is Alt-J's first new studio effort since 2014's celebrated This Is All Yours. "3WW," which serves as the album-opening song, includes a guest appearance by Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice. Alt-J released a video trailer for Relaxer on Friday which also featured a snippet of this track.

The album is due on June 9. That was already set to unfold as a very busy month for Alt-J, with appearances set at the 10th anniversary concert on June 16 at the 02 Arena in London, and at the INmusic Festival in Croatia a few days later.

Green just released a solo album titled High Anxiety late last year, but he told NME that he's thrilled to be back in the band setting.

"[We're] very excited about it," Green said of Relaxer. "I think it’s going to be pretty interesting. I feel like it’ll be different, but I don’t know. It’s funny that we write together so well and it comes pretty naturally and pretty quick."
