British art-rock trio Alt-J have landed their first-ever No. 1 album on the U.K. Albums Chart with the release of their sophomore effort, ‘This Is All Yours.’ (Read our album review here.)

As NME reports, drummer Gus Unger-Hamilton says, “It was never something we thought we’d achieve, but it’s our fans who have put us there so we owe this to them.” The band's debut record, 'An Awesome Wave,' peaked at No. 13 -- while it never cracked the Top 10, it was honored with the prestigious British award, the Mercury Prize.

Aphex Twin’s high-anticipated ‘Syro’ debuted at No. 8. Other new entrants into this week's U.K. Albums Chart include Leonard Cohen’s ‘Popular Problems’ and Lady Gaga’s duet collaboration with Tony Bennett, ‘Cheek to Cheek.’

Alt-J are preparing for two shows in Australia followed by a full-blown North American tour. Get their show itinerary here.
