Andrew Bird has announced 2016 tour dates, with North American stops planned for March and April.

Bird will be accompanied by a full band for the jaunt, which will officially kick off with a five-night run in his hometown of Chicago from Dec. 7-11. Then, he heads to the Netherlands for a string of dates in February. He’ll return stateside with a show in Nashville, Tenn., on March 30. He’ll wrap up the U.S. leg of the tour on April 22 in St. Louis, after which he's scheduled to play concerts across the U.K. and Europe. See his complete itinerary at the bottom of the page.

A ticket presale is ongoing; the general sale begins on Friday (Dec. 4). A portion of North American ticket proceeds will benefit “organizations working to end gun violence to build safer communities." Grab yours at Bird’s website. Check out the tour trailer up above.

The baroque-pop singer-songwriter released his most recent album, Things Are Really Great Here, Sort Of… -- a collection of the Handsome Family covers -- last year.
