Animal Collective Reveal Release Date, Track Listing of New Album ‘Centipede Hz’

Just a week after teasing the leadoff single from their next album by streaming a pair of new tracks online, Animal Collective have added to the anticipation by posting a video and track listing for the upcoming set. It will be titled 'Centipede Hz,' and it's due for a September release.

The band's label, Domino, later followed the video with an official announcement narrowing the release date down to September 4, which gives fans something to look forward to after waiting three years for a follow-up to the Collective's last proper full-length, 2009's 'Merriweather Post Pavilion.' The new LP will be preceded by a 7" single containing the tracks 'Honeycomb' and 'Gotham,' both of which are currently available on the band's website.
