Animal Collective Announce First-Ever Two-Day Music Festival, Add More U.S. Tour Dates

Fresh off the release of their new album Painting With, Animal Collective have announced they will launch their first-ever A N I M A L C O L L E C T I V E Camping Weekend festival this fall.

The two-day festival will take place Sept. 23-24 at the Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, Calif. Animal Collective will headline both nights with more sets from WIFE, Winter, the Range of Light Wilderness, M. Geddes Gengras and Jessica Pratt. Tickets for the festival go on sale this Wednesday, March 23.

The experimental indie-rockers have also expanded their existing set of U.S. tour dates this summer. The bulk of the newly added stops span between September and mid-November.
