ANOHNI, formerly Antony of Antony and the Johnsons, is nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars, however, her performance has been cut from the broadcast.

The singer’s song with J. Ralph, “Manta Ray,” which appeared in the film Racing Extinction, is up for the award. While it’s tradition for Best Original Song nominees to perform at the ceremony, ANOHNI’s appearance has been cut due to “time constraints,” Variety reports. Likewise, composer David Lang and South Korean artist Sumi Jo’s performance has also been nixed. They’re nominated for “Simple Song #3” from the movie Youth. Performances have been cut from the Oscars in the past, in fact, J. Ralph was also pulled from the 2012 ceremony when he was nominated for “Before My Time” in the documentary Chasing Ice.

The other three Best Original Song nominees -- the Weeknd, Lady Gaga and Sam Smith -- will all still perform at the Oscars when it airs on Feb. 28 on ABC. Dave Grohl is also slated to give a “special performance” at this year’s awards.
