Anthony Kiedis in ‘Point Blank’ – Musician Movie Cameos

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were on the verge of stardom -- their breakthrough album 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik' would drop later in the year -- when singer Anthony Kiedis took on the cameo role of Tone in the 1991 action film 'Point Break' starring starring Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves and Gary Busey. Kiedis appears (with his hair in braids) in a brief fight scene on the beach. He even gets to deliver one line: "That would be a waste of time."

It wasn't the Chili Pepper's only acting role -- he also appeared in 'F.I.S.T.' and 'The Chase' -- but it's enough to make you realize that Kiedis made the right decision to keep his music a priority. It paid off: The Chili Peppers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.
