Last month, Aphex Twin announced he would resurrect his AFX stage name with the release of Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008), his first album under the pseudonym in 10 years. At the time, the British producer -- whose real name is Richard D. James -- shared a track from the upcoming LP, and he’s now followed up with a second.

James recently debuted “Oberheim blacet1b” on Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 6 show. You can listen to the new song at this location by skipping ahead to the 2:38 mark.

Previously, James shared “Serge fenix rendered 2,” which will also appear on Orphaned deejay selek when it lands on Aug. 21 via Warp Records. The album is James’ first AFX release since his Analord EP series, which arrived between 2003 and 2005.

James has shared a virtual deluge of music ever since last year’s Syro. He recently said he’d share even more previously unheard Aphex Twin songs “soonish.”
