More than a decade passed between Aphex Twin’s 2001 album, ‘Drukqs,’ and his latest full-length, ‘Syro.’ Then, just a few days ago, the British artist -- whose real name is Richard D. James -- released his EP, ‘Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt2.’ (And that’s not even mentioning all the music he shared after an interview back in November.) Now, it appears James is dropping new, previously unreleased music via the “user478363530” Soundcloud account. The account – which was launched three days ago – already has more than 80 songs boasting “#earlyaphex” tags.

As Rolling Stone notes, “user478363530” commented on a song posted to the official Aphex Twin Soundcloud, writing, “I love your early 90's stuff so much, I was doing stuff in the early 90’s, similar to you but I didn't know about you when I did it ! Im also 43 years old :) I’m going to be uploading it to soundcloud soon, gotta dust off the old DAT’s & cassettes."

The official Aphex Twin account then replied to the comment, “beautiful stuff, would love to hear more.”

Meanwhile, Mike Paradinas -- who goes by the stage name Mu-Ziq and has collaborated with James in the past -- told Pitchfork he believes the music is authentic and likely coming from James himself. Paradinas also cited recognizing ‘Symbonsad,’ ‘1 Chink 101’ and ‘8 Utopia.’ Listen to all three below:
