Arcade Fire’s Regine Chassagne Gives Birth to Son

Back in February, we found out that Arcade Fire’s Regine Chassagne was expecting a child with husband Win Butler, and Le Journal de Montreal reports that Chassagne gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday (April 21).

The baby weighed seven pounds at birth, according to a family pastor at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. Touring bandmate Marika Shaw is also pregnant.

To add to the exciting news, Arcade Fire are still hard at work on their forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2010’s Grammy Award-winning record ‘The Suburbs,’ and have reportedly teamed up with James Murphy to record it.
