Chicago rockers Archie Powell & the Exports bring a mixture of horror and dark comedy with their new video for ‘Only So Much You Can Do.' Diffuser.fm is psyched to premiere the three-minute clip (watch below), which features choppy footage of the group trespassing on school grounds after hours. They encounter a number of unsettling surprises along the way and ultimately wind up running for their lives.

As Powell tells Diffuser.fm, the song is "an exercise in anthemic frustration glazed with a healthy dose of 'f--- it, man,'" and the video "comes to life as a miniature B movie that pits the band against an unknown force of supreme evil. Spoiler alert: everyone dies."

‘Only So Much You Can Do’ is from their album ‘Great Ideas in Action,’ which dropped last April via Good Land Records. In a 2012 review, RedEye Chicago wrote that the tune provides “a levelheaded wake-up call to frantic, unsatisfied youth.”

You can catch Archie Powell & the Exports at this year’s Summerfest alongside the likes of Avett Brothers, fun., Violent Femmes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Neon Trees.
