The full lineup for the 2012 Austin City Limits Festival won't be revealed until May 22, but thanks to the festival's enterprising organizers, a few of the acts are being revealed over the weekend.

For the second year in a row, a portion of the lineup is being unveiled through lottery scratch cards exclusively available at Austin-based establishments. The promotion will run for four days leading up to the lineup reveal. The biggest act announced on Friday, according to Consequence of Sound, was none other than the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

More acts revealed for the event include Childish Gambino, Delta Spirit, LP, Quiet Company, Punch Brothers and Steve Earle. On Saturday, Bon Iver, Alabama Shakes, Freelance Whales, Kimbra and Barrington Levy were added to the list. On Sunday, Jack White, the Black Keys, Andrew Bird, Esperanza Spalding, A-Trak and Zola Jesus made the cut. On Monday, Iggy and the Stooges, Black Lips, Gary Clark Jr., Bombay Bicycle Club and Two Door Cinema Club were announced.

On May 22, the festival confirmed the complete list of performers, including Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Florence + the Machine, the Avett Brothers, the Roots, the Shins, Weezer, Gotye, M83, Tegan and Sara, Metric and many, many more. See the complete list here.
