Subscribe to on

Austin City Limits has aired on public television for quite a long time — so long, in fact, that it has earned the title of the longest-running music program in the history of television. This fall, the show reveals no signs of slowing down as it celebrates its 40th season with an all-star lineup of guests including Beck, Tweedy, Nine Inch Nails and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.

Beck has been having an amazing year, from reveling in the release of his 12th studio album, ‘Morning Phase,’ to his nationwide tour that wraps up — not surprisingly — on Oct. 10 at the Austin City Limits Festival. Just a few days before his festival performance, the show’s season kicks off with Beck on Oct. 4.

In anticipation of it, Austin City Limits has released a clip from the season premiere featuring Beck and his classic track, ‘Loser.’ Watch it in the video above.
