Bad Brains guitarist Gary Miller, aka Dr. Know, has reportedly been hospitalized for reasons that are still unknown. However, friends from the music community have sent out well wishes to Miller since yesterday (Nov. 2), including a message that asserts the guitarist is on life support.

Jimi Hazel of 24/7 Spyz -- in a private Facebook post that P.O.D's Marcos Curiel shared on Instagram -- wrote 57-year-old Miller is currently “fighting for his life.”

“Please join me in sending massive amounts of prayer and PMA for Dr. Know, who is fighting for his life at this very moment,” Hazel wrote. “Please, ask me no questions. Just send all the love that you can for my brother in wires.”

Bad Brains posted a statement on Facebook:

Dean Ween, Lagwagon, Living Colour’s Corey Glover and the Mountain Goats’ John Darnielle have also sent positive thoughts and messages of support to Miller:
