Beastie Boys member Ad-Rock will have a featured role in director Noah Baumbach's upcoming film 'While We're Young,' which will boast a soundtrack by James Murphy.

Noted as Adam Horovitz in the credits, Ad-Rock will be joining a cast of seasoned thespians including Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Driver and Charles Grodin. There are no details yet on his role, but Ad-Rock should do fine considering all the characters he's played in the Beastie Boys videos. He also starred in the 1989 film 'Lost Angels.'

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Murphy and Baumbach have worked together on a film project. The LCD Soundsystem leader composed the score and wrote up a good chunk of songs for the soundtrack of Baumbach's 2009 film 'Greenberg.' After the success of that soundtrack, there's little doubt Murphy will deliver some musical magic on this one.

'While We're Here' is a film that looks at how a middle-aged couple's life drastically changes after a younger couple enters their lives. The film will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival.
