The Beastie Boys are still in mourning over the recent loss of beloved member Adam Yauch. However, according to producer Mario Caldato Jr. (also known as "Mario C"), the band has a rare collection of songs yet to be shared with the world.

Caldato sat down with NME not long ago and stated that "there's a handful of extra stuff from each record apart from 'Paul's Boutique,'" and that he "went through it all recently ... and there's definitely two or three tracks that didn't get utilized that could be utilized."

"We'll take it slowly. No one’s thinking of doing anything right away. It's too soon," he added, in regards to releasing the music.

The Brazilian producer/engineer is best known for his work on various Beastie Boys records, including the aforementioned 'Paul's Boutique,' 'Check Your Head,' 'III Communication' and 'Hello Nasty.' He has also mixed with artists Beck and Jack Johnson.
