Watch Beck Perform ‘Waking Light’ On ‘Conan’

Last night (Oct. 28), Beck appeared on ‘Conan’ to perform his song ‘Waking Light’ off of his most recent solo album, ‘Morning Phase’ — and he made it look so damn easy. You can watch the smooth performance above.

The last time Beck was on ‘Conan’ wasn’t that long ago; he paid tribute to the late George Harrison by performing a cover of ‘Wah-Wah’ for ‘George Harrison Week.’ He also recently appeared on PBS’ ‘Austin City Limits‘ for an hour-long career-spanning set.

Aside from ‘Morning Phase,’ Beck has curated an album titled ‘Song Reader’ for which he wrote all of the songs for, but had an all-star lineup of musicians perform and interpret his sheet music. So, it’s not actually a Beck album, but the concept is awesome. Check out Jack White’s interpretation of ‘I’m Down’ below:
