It's almost impossible to read about Belle and Sebastian without seeing the word "twee," which is defined as "excessively or affectedly quaint, pretty, or sentimental" -- but if that bothers the band, you couldn't tell by watching their latest video.

The new clip, filmed for the band's Record Store Day single 'Crash,' finds them shrunk down, converted to 3D paper dolls, and performing in stop-motion animation -- basically, the cutest darn thing you're going to see all day.

And the song? It's a sunny, bouncy cover of the Primitives' 1988 hit, perfect for soundtracking Belle and Sebastian's animated adventures during one happy day in London. We've never been in the Underground, or gone on a hot air balloon ride, but if we did, we imagine it might sound a lot like this.

Check out the clip below, and call your local record stores to find out whether they'll be carrying Belle and Sebastian's version on April 21.
