Last month, Belle and Sebastian announced plans to headline one of three nights of the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival, and now, everyone's favorite Scottish twee outfit has mapped out a North American trek leading up to the Chicago event. The brief tour, which was announced this morning (Feb. 19), launches north of the border on July 4 in Quebec City and touches down in a total of 11 cities, with their July 20 appearance at P-fork the final date.

Belle and Sebastian fans should consider this a rare chance to see the band, which doesn't make it across the pond very often. The last time singer Stuart Murdoch and the group hit the States was in 2010, when they played just a handful of festival and headlining dates scheduled around their appearance at that summer's Matador At 21 gathering in Las Vegas, which celebrated their record label's 21st birthday.

Long-running Matador label mates Yo La Tengo, who also performed at the 2010 Sin City bash, will join Belle and Sebastian for a few of this summer's tour dates, too. Check out all the details below.
