Belle and Sebastian are coming back to North America. Today, they revealed a brief trek that will be taking place over the summer.

They announced it on their website, saying that they're "bringing our Scottish selves and songs across the pond." They're starting at the Sony Centre Toronto on July 27 and concluding on Aug. 6 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. This includes a stop at New York's Panorama Music and Arts Festival. Also on the bill for most of the dates are varying combinations of Spoon, Andrew Bird, Ex Hex and Porches. See the itinerary below for more information.

Pitchfork notes that they're working on a new album, with the intention of having it out at some point in 2017. Their most recent full-length was 2015's Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, although during the Olympics last summer, the released a standalone song and video in honor of their love of the track and field events, "Olympic Village 6AM." They also went through their past with a limited edition box of 12-inch singles on vinyl, complete with a 20-page book, a DVD of their videos and a replica of fanzines from the '90s.
