The Ben Folds Five reunion continues. Ben and his two Five mates made a visit to Conan O'Brien last night (Jan. 30) to bust out a pair of songs off their 2012 comeback album, 'The Sound of the Life of the Mind,' and the performance was loose, lighthearted and full of life. The trio opened with 'Draw a Crowd,' a song that, given the lyrics, benefited from the fact that 'Conan' is now on cable TV now. ("If you’re feeling small/ And you can’t draw a crowd/ Draw d---s on a wall," he sang repeatedly.)

Later, Ben (now wearing his always-stylish newsboy cap) and the rest of BFF returned for a run-through of the moody and melodramatic 'Erase Me,' another tune from 'Life of the Mind.' The web-only exclusive take didn't air on the telly, but you can check out all five-plus minutes of its indie piano balladry below.

Ben Folds Five, who reunited last year to put out 'The Sound of the Life of the Mind' and hit the road for the first time in more than a decade, are still on the comeback trail. There are a handful of dates on 2013 their itinerary, including two shows in the States in early February, followed by a brief Asian tour. Check out their full schedule here.
