Watch Ben Gibbard Cover Alvvays’ ‘Archie, Marry Me’ In New Video

Remember how we freaked out over Ben Gibbard’s cover of Alvvays’ ‘Archie, Marry Me,’ during a rare solo show back in November? Well now there’s a full-length, high-quality video of the Death Cab for Cutie frontman’s cover of the tune. While introducing the song, Gibbard revealed that the Alvvays track was one of his favorites from 2014.

The performance came as a part of the Little Big Show, a fundraising event in Seattle that raised money for the city’s youth arts programs. Watch Gibbard’s full performance in the video above.

Gibbard’s solo performances may become even fewer and far between in the near future now that Death Cab are gearing up for a brand-new album, ‘Kintsugi,’ which is due out March 31.
