No. 39: Ben Harper – 50 Beautiful Album Covers
‘Give Till It’s Gone’
Although the artists who created the cover to this 2011 Ben Harper album cannot be easily tracked down, the influence of graphic designer Shepard Fairey — the man behind the Barack Obama “Hope” poster — seems quite apparent. We wouldn’t be surprised if Harper himself hired somebody to come up with something Fairey-esque, but it’s still a gorgeous design.
