Best Coast released their latest album, California Nights, earlier this week, and Bethany Cosentino and the gang stopped by Conan on Tuesday night (May 5) to perform their current single, "Feeling OK."

While we always love a good west coast rock song, one thing you'll instantly notice about Best Coast's performance last night is their refined sound. Sure, rock and roll has its grittiness, but the additional band members on stage round out the sound and give the performance more punch.

Of course, you can't ignore the opening notes from multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno; not only does he set the tone for the track but also builds a foundation for everyone else to stand on. Cosentino has always been on top of her game and full of confidence in front of the mic, and onConan, she brought a brightness -- along with her strength -- that proves why she's the perfect frontwoman for Best Coast.

California Nights hit the streets on May 5 via Harvest Records. In support of the new record, the band will be hitting the road and travel around North America and will kick off the tour at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta on May 8. Check out Best Coast's full list of tour dates here.
