Hear ‘Heaven Sent’ From Best Coast’s Upcoming Album

Last month, Best Coast announced their upcoming third album, California Nights, and unveiled its lead single and title track. Now, they’re following up with a second cut from the LP, “Heaven Sent.” Watch the lyric video above.

The new clip highlights frontwoman Bethany Costentino signature sweet, lovelorn lyrics drenched in sunny, ‘90s-inflected surf-rock, while even calling attention to bandmate Bobb Bruno’s 16-bar guitar solo and instrumental break. You’ll be able to pick up “Heaven Sent” and the rest of California Nights when the album hits shelves on May 4 via Harvest Records, following Best Coast's 2012 full-length, The Only Place.

Recently, SXSW revealed that Best Coast would join Spoon, Viet Cong, Twin Shadow and more for the 2015 Hype Hotel, which runs from March 17-21. From there, they have a string of U.S. tour dates planned, including festival slots at this year’s Maverick Music Festival in San Antonio on April 11 and Shaky Knees in Atlanta on May 10.
