With all the crazy weather these past several months, who isn't wishing for some warm rays of sunshine to hit us soon? While we wait it out, give a listen to Bestfriends' new summery cut 'When the Lights,' which brings us to those warm summer eves when we can dance the night away.

The Chicago duo, who've literally been friends since preschool, sound a lot like Chromeo meets Prince with their refreshed take on electro-dance pop music.

The falsetto vocals rest in a place just above the mid-tempo drum beat, and those synths cradle a melody that brings us back to the '80s, when neon lights and leg warmers ruled.

But this is more than just throwback music. Nick and Greg's sound is so catchy and carefree that you won't care just how teased out your hair looks on the dance floor. 'When the Lights' comes from Bestfriends' upcoming EP, 'Refine,' which is out on April 1.
