Billy Corgan has made friends with Paris Jackson through Twitter after the Smashing Pumpkins frontman discovered a Webstagram post of a painting the 14-year-old daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson made of his band's 2007 album, 'Zeitgeist.' "I'm glad you liked that cover! Not everyone likes that album haha," Corgan wrote in a tweet addressed to Paris.

That note started a brief exchange between the two, with Paris replying, "well they're crazy haha that's one of my favorites((:" Corgan tweeted a response, offering Paris tickets to see the Pumpkins on tour. "I like you more and more!" he wrote. "You'll have to come see us when we play. Not sure where you are but we'll hook you up for passes."

That last tweet seemed to make the young Jackson's day, as she quickly responded, well, "best day ever." In fact, Paris was so ecstatic about her interaction with Corgan, she posted a picture of another piece of hand-painted art inspired by the band's 'Zeitgeist' era.

Like Corgan, we're not exactly sure where Paris and her family are living these days, but we're guessing the band's Oct. 14 stop at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles will be the closest date on their itinerary. Let's just hope she doesn't find out the things Corgan said about her dad Micheal around the time of his death -- although it you ask us, it seems like his words were totally taken out of context.
