The bad news: Anybody who was expecting Bjork to actually show up at the U.K. premiere of her concert movie, 'Biophilia: Live,' is going to be disappointed. The good news: She won't be there because she's recording a new album.

The diminutive singer's team revealed the news in a Facebook post apologizing for the fact that Bjork can't attend the event taking place next week as part of the  BFI London Film Festival.

Not many details have emerged around the upcoming album, although Consequence of Sound reports that Venezuelan producer Alejandro Ghersi, a.k.a. Arca, said he’ll be co-producing.

The 'Biophilia' movie she won't be watching in London features live performances of each of the songs on her 2011 album of the same name. Her next album will be her ninth.
