The first blast from the new Black Keys album was sorta familiar-sounding: bluesy, moody, a little on the fuzzy garage side. But the second taste from 'Turn Blue' is woozier, wavier and a bit more daring in its approach to retro rock.

'Fever,' which came out about three weeks ago, offered the first new music by the Black Keys since 2011's 'El Camino,' and its groove-oriented track -- albeit a little funkier than we're used to from the duo -- could have come from the 'El Camino' sessions. 'Turn Blue,' the new song, steps back and slows down.

The Keys' new album, their eighth, comes out on May 13, and once again features production by Danger Mouse, who worked on the group's last three albums. You can hear 'Turn Blue' above.
