Black Rebel Motorcycle Club dug a little deeper into their latest album 'Specter at the Feast' last night (April 24) during a performance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.' They busted out the non-single track 'Hate the Taste,' which melds Robert Levon Been's repetitive bass plucks and frontman Peter Hayes' unusually bright guitar stabs with lyrics about some sort of soul-crushing existential life crisis -- that, or the tune might be about a nine-year-old's extreme hatred of Brussels sprouts. Check it out above.

BRMC are currently on a North American tour that will keep them busy through a June 2 gig in Santa Ana, Calif., and this weekend, they share the stage with Deerhunter, Boris and others at the 6th annual Austin Psych Fest.
